Hey there, I’d say the Black Spitit goes more into the British direction (some AC30- and – in the more distorted mode – Plexi-like sounding) whweras the Grandmeister resembles a more Fender-like amp. Both sound great anyway! I’d like to hear your thoughts on that.

Hi Dietmar, depends how you define “Bristish” tone. Classic British tone relies a lot on power amp saturation (Plexi-like), Californian tone rather realies on gain stacking in the preamp. The Black Spirit can do both, thanks to the sagging control.

Hello, yes, I’m aware of that. My comment above just refers to the sounds demonstrated in the video, not to these amps in general.
